I have been fascinated with photos since I was 8. I went through many disposable cameras before i got a real film camera, and it's been a complete obsession since. I lived in a van and travelled the Western U.S. to take photographs of all the National Parks. I did a backpacking tour in Europe, and a stint on the PCT all in the name of taking beautiful pictures and sharing my point of view with the world.

Over the years, the camera has taught me that anything can be beautiful if you look at it the right way, and that mindset has carried over into all my art.

When I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go to University, I chose Natural Science Biology. For no reason other than I looked up what the most common degree was amongst National Geographic Photographers.

All of this is to say I love taking photos. Like so much. And I want nothing more in the world than to use the camera to help me tell the stories that are happening all around us in the natural world.
