Here’s the same lick in the keys of A minor, B minor, and F# minor. The key to playing this one is getting those slides from above to be in time. Sliding into a note (from either direction) is a great way to articulate a note in a more interesting way. It’s not a technical lick, but it’s meant to get you thinking about how you can make a single note more interesting. You could just play the lick straight, but it wouldn’t have nearly as much flavor.
